More than Homes and BGN have formed a partnership following their longstanding relationship with Accent Housing. 

BGN, a brand-led design agency based in Manchester, highly support and back the initiative in responding to food poverty and ending hunger in communities across the UK. The team have invested time into the cause that is close to their hearts and more recently, they have been working with More than Homes on their Christmas campaign, which will run through the festive season.

When we heard about the More Than Homes initiative, we jumped at the chance to get involved and hopefully we can play a role in helping dispel some of the myths around food poverty and the people who have to use food banks.”

The campaign was initiated this year, following the affects of COVID-19 and the loss of jobs, lack of support and difficulty caused by the sudden pandemic. With the aim of raising £1 Million for The Trussel Trust from across the UK’s housing sector. 

As the events of 2020 have unfolded, there will be more people than ever which will need the help of a food bank this Christmas. More than Homes has collaborated with Accent Housing and The Trussell Trust to deliver the message through a social campaign, which aims to dispel myths associated with turning to food banks.

In a series of compelling and eye opening statements, the myths are labelled True or False, evoking a realisation that they are there for anybody who needs them and that anyone can soon be in the position to rely on food bank support.

Following the creative campaign from BGN, they felt that it was only right, that this year their Christmas charitable donation would go to The Trussell Trust. If you too would like to donate to this cause, visit the website here.
